Cooper has been trending of late, according to multiple mock drafts, as the Titans pick at #10.
While Chance Warmack has been called the best prospect in this years Jonathan Cooper has slipped under the radar. That could change after the Tar Heels Pro Day on Tuesday.
I wouldn't mind Cooper at all.....but not above Warmack or Milliner. I usually uneasy about late draft risers. Cooper was considered a late 1st or 2nd rd pick for the last yr.....until just recently. Warmack has been considered a mid-1st rounder or higher for the last several yrs.....and is generally considered to be the best guard to come out of college in the last 20 yrs.
Floyd, Vaccaro are other players this yr. For the last yr there really wasn't a safety worthy of a mid-1st rd pick or higher.....then boom, here's Vaccaro. Floyd wasn't even considered a 2nd rd pick for the last 1-2 yrs. Star Lotulelei has been considered a top 10 pick for a long time.
If they haven't overly impressed you throughout an entire season or two of play......film, etc......why all the sudden are you so impressed?
I feel the same. I would love Warmack at 10, but if he's gone I would much rather grab a DE/DT/S and get Warford in the 2nd then take Cooper
