In my opinion, it has to be a difference maker on the defensive line.
PapaTitan keeps it real.
My top 3 draft picks would be (in any order depending on best player grade):
The problem with the Titans is that they have "take the best player available in the draft regardless of position" mentality.....and "supplement the team with FA." That's a winning strategy for many teams throughout the league. The problem is that the Titans take their perceived best player available in the draft and then don't supplement well in free agency.
-Back during McNair's later yrs one of the biggest team needs was WR. We never landed a really good WR in FA. We signed a couple super old veterans, but that's it. We could've made big time playoff runs
-Last yr our top needs were G/C, DE, and CB/S. We didn't sign hardly any of these positions in the draft, nor did we bring in FA's capable of filling the positions. Hutch was a band-aid over a gunshot wound. We brought in Wimbley, but then let our best DE from the previous yr go off to Seattle.
I love my Titans, but my goodness are they frustrating.
