Robert Johnson looks lost out there.
I agree they need to get Griffin back where he belongs. Also, there is something I think that nobody seems to be saying that a lot of the problems go back to Bud Adams saying that we needed to pursue Peyton Manning. By doing this we couldn't sign any of the good centers we had in or any other players we probably could have signed that would have helped us on both sides of the ball.
I think we had close to $30 million in cap space. We could've signed Peyton, a stud center, a stud guard, a good DE or two.......as well as all our draft picks..........we just didn't get it done.
OP. The Titans seem to be in a massive youth movement across the board. It's almost as if they are ok with struggling a lot right now if it brings everyone up to speed for later in the season or the next couple of yrs. They have been raving about RJ's athleticism and work ethic. He's basically a rookie and he seems to be making mistakes out of lack of experience. I think they see Johnson as possibly the future for them at Safety.
I can understand the youth movement, but it frustrates me. If you would've signed a couple G/C's and 2 good DE's then we are looking at a possible playoff contender......instead we are going to have to fight to make .500.
