This is done by the agent as a ploy to let the Titans know Cook is not happy with his role. I spoke to Cook a couple of weeks ago. He desperately wants to stay and wants a contract extension.
Agents do this to stir things up. No way Titans trade Cook.
Same thing happened a few years ago when I got wind that Peter Sirmon had requested a trade. It was just to let the Titans know they were unhappy with the situation, which involved at the time the signing of David Thornton.

IF Cookie is feeling under-used and is un happy and is not playing on running downs, then why not trade him for a pick? ONLY a 1st or 2nd at the least, but we could use some top picks to re-load.Why have a potential cancer to the lockerroom. He is in the last year of his deal.
