Gotta be happy for Griffin, but I'm not sure it was the best move for the Titans.

I'll let you know after this year........

There is a lack of depth at the safety position around the league. The Titans just wrapped up a safety that's "average to really good" depending on which Griffin shows up......and they got him at a decent price. I guess I like it, but I would wager that they'll spend the next few yrs finding/drafting/grooming Griffin's and Babineaux's replacements.

I thought for sure that Griffin would run the bigger contracts elsewhere next yr though. This was probably a good move on Webster's part to get him under contract quickly before the season.

I think they feel that they need Griffin more than they needed Finn.
