We could find a new host and do it all over again and take our chances and that was considered. The other option that popped up was migrating over here.
From our perspective, the benefits of doing so were plentiful. The forum message board is free for all members so any idea of charging people to continue in this form of Titans Central is not the case. In addition, Titans Insider offered moderator status to our existing moderators. Also, we know Terry very well and he's contributed to our site many times over the years. Lastly, this site is also dedicated to the Titans and the NFL, which made it a great fit with what we set out to do with Titans Central.
The downside - perhaps a little less control over the non-football posts and that's fine with me. If anything, that was a big negative in recent years.
Back to the basics of the Titans. Both Oilerman and I are pleased to be here and hopeful that some of the misconceptions out there won't split the board.

I would like to take a minute and chime in here. First off, welcome all new TC folks and thanks for giving TitanInsider a chance. That's all we can ask for.
I completely understand the reluctancy with some of you. Change is not always for everyone, especially the older we get. I think that you'll find this site to be run by a bunch of pros in the 247sports crew, and Terry and I have been covering the Titans since they left Houston.
As for the bait and switch question posed earlier, NO one from 247sports tells Terry and I what to make free and what to put as premium content. So those concerns are not warranted because we are here to try our best to keep everyone happy from those just registered folks to our premium subscribers. I know some would say that can be an impossible task to make happen but we certainly are here to try. And I would say for the first 10 months of TitanInsider, that has happened. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.
So, let's all have some fun and talk some pigskin!
