Eagles vs. Titans: What's your early take?

  • Let's get the talk started about the big showdown Sunday. The Titans are looking to extend an 11 game winning streak against the NFC when they play the Eagles.

    Let's get the talk started about the big showdown Sunday. The Titans are looking to extend an 11 game winning streak against the NFC when they play the Eagles.

    I'm worried about the Eagles passing game because Kolb looked great last week against the Falcons. Maclin is a star in the making. I do think if Collins starts he'll be effective against the Eagles defense. The Titans will have to play their best game to date to beat the Eagles on Sunday.

    I think you are correct about the passing game. The Eagles throw a lot and spread the ball around. Their number one target is McCoy. I think the Titans need to keep an eye on him. The Eagles can pressure the qb and have a good secondary. I think the Titans have the best fronts, and probably overall better team. Collins is going to have to get the ball out quickly and not take any chances. I think Jeff will try to make this a defensive battle, advantage Titans. If it gets to be a high scoring affair, I don't see Collins beiong able to keep up. Still,I would rather the Titans lose this one than rush the return of VY.

    Good points Number9. I feel pretty good about the Titans shutting down the Eagles running game. Maclin and the passing game scares me the most because Griffin had a tough time with him in college.
