Finnegan believes he is target of refs

Titans' cornerback flagged for another personal foul penalty vs. Giants

TitanInsider: Any closer and you'd be in the huddle.

  • I felt the same thing when that penalty was called. It looked as if he had grabbed Smith's shoulderpads. I don't like how ballcarriers can grab your facemask and throw you around, but you can't touch anything near their face without getting a penalty.

Smith grabs Finnegan's facemask on purpose and Finnegan drags him to the ground and Finnegan gets the penalty. Oh well I guess.

  • I like Finnegan as a player he's a very good one. But he puts himself in these situations trying to get into peoples heads. He is always costing us stupid penalties and yes the refs probably are keeping and extra eye on him. He frustrates me to no end trying to start something wiht the other team.

I wish he would learn to walk away and calm down after a play and just play the game.

    Couldn't agree with you more.

He seems like a nice guy off the field. Does well on radio, seems to be involved in the community, etc.

But have to question anyone who has a "goal" of being the dirtiest player in the league. Just asking for trouble IMO.

If the refs are targeting him, it's his fault because he made himself a target.
