First game i went to since 99

  • Amazing experience, I loved going to the game. As usual, you can see so much more at the game than you do on TV. Here are my following observations.

    1. We need a WR. Im beginning to wonder if our offense was clicking because of our new QB, or because Britt was healthy. Maybe its because he isnt used to them. Either way, we need one GOOD go to receiver. 73 yards of offense in the first half.... what?????

    2. One of the best olines in the league? I call BS. They are living off of their reputation. The line I saw today, was not even remotely good. I am not a CJ fan because of his mouth, but the guy could do nothing. We have two.... TWO hall of fame O linemen on our team, and apparently they are retarded to keep the same people in there or they just cant fix the problem. Yes, its a problem. Nowhere to run, and the pressure they got on our QB today, WITHOUT mario williams, is just pathetic.

    3. Defense. I said this last season, and its happening again. last year, we were "lucky" and "opportunistic" but the D was still getting it done the first 4-5 games because of the turnovers. This season, we were one of the best in the league. Then all of a sudden, the D coordinator decides to stop blitzing. Happened last season and we started sucking on D. Its happening again. Terry, anyone on this board, can you please get the message to our DC that blitzing isnt always a bad thing. We wouldnt blitz a hobbled QB 2 weeks ago and that team ate us alive. This game, same thing. I am quickly losing my hope for our defense if this is the road we are going to take. We cannot just rush 4 constantly and let teams tear us up.

    4. 230 for the tickets. 150 in fan merchandise. 60 on snacks and drinks. 25 in parking. And the memory of watching a team come out uninspired and looking like they could care less if they win the division. We could have gone into next week with a somewhat comfortable lead. Now I have to say "thank goodness, were playing the colts next week, we might find a way to beat one of the worst in the league"

I believe the fairy tale in the beginning of the season was nothing more than getting our hopes up. We are not a good football team. We may have talent, but so does every team. Sadly, I still feel we have a long way to go.

Sad, pathetic, disheartening display of football that the Titans left on the field today.

  • Sorry you had to witness the worst performance at home in years. You make some great points.

  • Yeah tough game to watch at home I would of hated to waste my money on a game like that. Thank goodness the colts are up next.

  • The colts may beat the titans if this stale team from the last two games shows up.

A win for the Colts may be a win for the Titans, and the rest of the afc south for that matter.
