Defensive end Jacob Ford was held out as a precaution because of his injured right hamstring.
Ford originally suffered the injury in Wednesday night's practice, but was back on the field Thursday, only to be back on the sideline again the next day.
“We're being smart about it. My leg is just tweaked a little bit,” Ford said.
Asked if he would be a go next week, Ford took the cautious approach.
“I don't know. I want to, but we'll see where it goes,” he said.
In addition to Ford, the Titans also played without ends William Hayes (knee) and Derrick Morgan (calf).
Morgan did indicate that he hopes to play on Saturday at Carolina and perhaps be ready to practice on Wednesday.
