Gado or Blount?

  • After seeing the way he ran on that drive, I'm saying Blount. And here's why. The upside is obviously there, and even though he can't play special teams, and he is raw as can be, if you dump him on the waiver wire, some team is liable to claim him.

  • I still think Gado will be the guy in the end. The #3 RB has to play special teams and Gado fits that bill. Blount has looked great but I think you try to sneak him on PS. for a year and continue to develop him for the 2011 season.

  • Here is the deal... teams are not exactly knocking on Gado's door right now. So if you keep Blount and dump Gado, you have a player to build up for the future. Now if CJ goes down and you need to pick up another back Gado may be available then.

If they and try and slip Blount across the waivers, it won't happen.

  • I would like to see them keep Blount. Like Terry said, I see the upside of him there. Gado has great vision, he's smart, and knows how to hit the hole. My thing is, Blount can be the big back especially in 3rd and short and goal line packages, whcih can be very valuable for us. Either back would be good, but I am for Blount just for what he brings to the table and his upside.

  • One thing for sure, this will be their TOUGHEST decision in the next 24 hrs. Maybe they consider only carrying 3 TE's and keep both Gado and Blount. I doubt it but maybe they make concessions at another position to make it work.

    My money is on Blount.

  • It has to be Blount. He has all the athleticism and potential to be the big back that the Titans wanted out of White. He's obviously still learning to run in a zone block scheme but he's a real bruiser who can literally hurdle defensive players.

  • Blount.

I don't see why he needs to play ST since he won't be activated this year anyway unless there is an injury.

    Go with the greater potential.

  • It would be nice if we could keep both backs.Blount has the most potential, but we have a need on special teams and Gado fits that . This time around will be the toughest decision process in a long time in titans history. Besides the other corner position, a lot of the position battles are with the backups. We have a quality depth on our team and I see us making a run this season and go deep into the playoffs. We have the making of our Super Bowl team.

  • Looks like you were right Terry.
