General Observation

  • Looking at our 4 wrs who played in this first game ,we have 5-11/194,6-1/177,,6-1/199,and 5-10/195.Obviously minus Britt,we have no wr over 6-2/200lbs. Given the fact that Locker tends to sail the ball high,I have to believe that a 6-4,6-5,wr has a much better chance to leap for a high ball and make a play.If coaches could pin point routes where Jake struggles,adjustments could be made Look at some of the catches Cookie,who is 6-5, has made down the seam,he had to really go up and get a few.I also have to think a 6-4 220 lb wr,would be a better blocker in the run game for CJ.I think we need at least 1 more big wr.I also get that this isn't our biggest need but i'm trying to help Locker out. I understand big,fast wr,don't grow on trees,but just making an observation.

    I can see where you're coming from, but it's not our biggest need. I feel good saying that if Britt had been on the other end of Locker's interception, he would have at least broken it up. I can already tell that Wright is a keeper too. I know Jake's going to continue to work at it and improve his accuracy.
