The NFL is considering a plan to have a few teams play regularly in Britain to build an overseas following -- part of the league's evaluation about whether a franchise could be permanently based in London.
espn.go.comFor the most part, I have been a Goodell fan and I agree with most of what he has done as commissioner. But this London crap every year is ridiculous and the thought of having a permanent team over there is beyond stupid. Who would want to play for a team in London? And a trip to London from the west coast would be insane, not fair to those teams at all. I commend Goodell for thinking big, but he's nuts.
