He's obviously on the back end of his career but Hasselbeck will provide a veteran bridge to Locker. I'll be interested in seeing the money part of the deal.
To me, I think Locker should be groomed to be the starter in 2012 although it absolutely will not shock me to see Locker playing sometime this year if they are out of contention in the 2nd half of the season.

Agree with you completely. If the Titans start 1-5 (which is highly likely if CJ holds out), then you'll see people clamoring for the move to Locker sooner rather than later. When McNabb was snatched up by the Vikings, it made the Hasselbeck signing a no-brainer, as those were the two the Titans had targeted this off-season.

I sure hope we don't start out 1-5. I think we can beat Denver, Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Houston putting us at 4-2 through the first six. Maybe, I should take my Titan goggles off though. lol

Signed Steve Breaston to a 5 year deal today.
Drafted a #2 in Pitt's Baldwin, and now Breaston. Our offense is seriously going to be something next year if they can live up to potential.
