Have the Titans become more of a Passing Team

  • Maybe this was Fisher's plan all along, but it seems that the Titans came into the season telling everyone (or letting CJ tell everyone) that they were going to hand the ball off 30 times/game. Fisher led opponents on this charade for a few games, and now every defense seems to spend the entire week working the line to stop the run, when Ooops! the Titans have come out passing.

Is Fisher just adapting or was this a deeply thought out chess move that's still evolving as the season continues?

  • I think it's the Titans wanting to throw to set up the run. Throwing an 80-yard bomb for a touchdown is something I'm not used to seeing at the LP. I kinda like how things are evolving.

This was definately NOT a chess move by Fisher. Teams (as expected) came into every game daring the Titans to pass and were going to cheat on defense to stop the run.
It's smart that the offensive staff (mainly Fisher) finally gave in, to opening things up to allow the running game to work.
