This is exactly the type of move the Patriots make that turns in to gold. Take a guy with talent and issues, put him under Belichick's thumb and watch him succeed. See Moss, Randy.

Haynesworth may be way beyond help.
Despite the drama, whining, crappy attitude - I never got the feeling that Moss didn't want to play, and play well, on Sundays.
I don't think Haynesworth gives a flip if he ever plays another down of football, especially if it's not on his terms, and his terms only - he'll just enjoy his 50 mil.

Don't forget too that Floyd Reese is with the Patriots and he is the guy who overruled Jeff Fisher and drafted Haynesworth in the first place.

AH is the best defensive player in the world... When he wants to be. If the Pats get him motivated and he plays the way he's capable of that's going to be one of the best trades ever.
My question is if AH was unhappy with a 34 in Washington how are the Pats going to use him in their scheme? have to assume he's going to be playing DE with Wilfork playing the NT.

they're paying Haynesworth less than 10 mil a year for him. The Redskins already paid most of the contract.
