Browns president Mike Holmgren acknowledged some festering rumors on Tuesday that the team was angling to take wide receiver Kendall Wright at No. 22 before the Titans nabbed him.

That's not the only team that I've been hearing really showed interest. I don't have specifics, but "Moving The Chains" with Pat Kirwan mentioned many times that there were many teams that were very high on Wright. They mentioned that if Wright had been 6'2" that he would've been the #1 WR on many draft boards.

I like the pick, It allows Britt to be brought along slowly off the acl. Wright and all the young wr's can get the reps in camp and continue to get better.It will be a good situation when wright is comfortable at a few spots and Britt is 100%

I agree. I like the pick as well. With Britt, Washington, Cook, and Wright we have a very nice looking group of playmakers. Couple that with CJ's ability and a young QB and it could be scary good. I think we're still a yr or two away from seeing the Titans explode though.
