I would approach the oncoming free agency this way:

Guard/Center:
1. Resign Velasco at C - he actually played decently towards the end
2. Go after Andy Levitre, Louis Vasquez, or Kevin Boothe (in that order) and sign one of them.

DE:
1. It would be nice to go after a stud like Spencer, Bennett, or Johnson, but depth is the thing that we are most needing. We need a guy like Babin back. A veteran that we can get at a good price (and a shorter contract) that can play limited snaps. Osi Umenyiora fits this mold......or bring back Willie Hayes.

Secondary:
1. I feel that our CB's would look a ton better if they had a pass rush and safety help. I would give Jarius Byrd a massive contract. There are some nice FA safeties to be bought.....many have come off of injury ridden seasons, but lots of talent out there. Sign somebody.

Then draft BPA.....but only if you fill the spots above.
