I would have to say yes on this one. The only thing missing from his resume' is a Super Bowl ring, but 16 years in the league and eight Pro Bowls says quite a it.

How would anyone but his coaches and opponents determine if a lineman is worthy of the hall fame? I am a huge football fan and have watched 1,000s of games, and I can't tell the difference between good and great.

Point taken, but I think the longevity and the Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections tell you the level of how good he was. So to that end, I'd have to say yes.

Unequivocally YES! 16 yrs in the NFL with 8 Pro Bowls (six in a row). 15 of those 16 years were blocking for a 1,000+ yard rusher. 241 games played and 238 as a starter.
Get a speech ready for Canton, in my opinion.
