I really think they should look outside the organization. Bring some new ways of doing things.

Time will tell, but it could be a good move. Munchak has a calm, steady demeanor. He's business-like and remember this: 8 of the 12 teams that made the playoffs this year were guided by a coach in his first job with five years or less experience on the job. The six coaches in the last three Super Bowls fit that criteria as well. So change can be a positive thing.

Would McGinnis not be an obvious choice? Of course, if so, his staff could look a lot like the one we already have.

Any idea what style coaching philosphy we'd see with Munchak? Would he be another conservative coach from the school of Fisher?
