You have no favorite boards.
With Fluker flying up the draft boards and the Titans being fairly open about liking Fluker, it got me thinking as to why?
a) The first obvious answer is to create a smoke screen. You always want to be cryptic with who you are targeting in the draft.
b) Possibly to target him in case he falls? Seems unlikely but it's a possibility.
c) Webster said plainly in the recent press conference that they view Fluker as a "tackle." But he is flexible enough to play guard. So could they draft Fluker and start him at RG with intention to possibly shift him over to RT when Stewart (who will probably be let go after this yr) is gone? Or draft Fluker and start him at RT (Stewart is coming off of a broken leg) which would allow shifting of the linemen around to compensate for the RG position?
Who knows? Just thinking out loud, I guess. I still think they go CB, G, or DL with the first pick, but that's merely speculation.
My guess is that there is. I also hear that the Cardinals like him a lot too.
PapaTitan keeps it real.
