Jake needs to play for experience ,but 1 more hit on the bad shoulder is season ending for sure.We are just not good enough right now to overcome bad calls, period. If the D cant improve through these last 8 games, then i'm not sure Gray keeps his job.The problem becomes that Munch can only offer a 1 year deal,as of now, because he only has 1 year left on his deal. Not a good position to be in to get a GOOD person to run the D.

It wasn't Matts fault and I'm sure when Jake is 100% he will be in.
Agreed. They've already made the switch. I don't think the staff views this as any thing other than Jake's team. They were just using Matt's success to allow for Jake to rehab and heal a little longer. As soon as Jake is ready, they'll put him back in.
This loss was not on Matt. They had more than ample opportunity to put this game away from all aspects of the game.

All Matt had to do is get more air under the pass to Cook and we're likely talking about a big win instead of a loss.
True but a couple of CORRECT calls by the refs or making an interception when its thrown to you would have made that a non issue, but a little more air makes everything else go away too. Al least we have a QB that admits when he makes a mistake.
