I'm going with a B-. He was a lot better last night than in Tampa.
There were some throws that should've been picked off and he got lucky. There were some throws that he just missed the mark that should've been easy completions. But as a whole I love what I see.
Dilfer had some good analysis. He noted how Locker doesn't lead his crossing and out routes enough.....though he is capable as demonstrated by the Washington cross for a TD. Give him some time with these and he'll look really good.
Also, IMO he seems to want to "Favre" the ball to WR's some times....meaning he wants to gun it really hard. It's fine if you're on target, but there is something to say about taking some velocity off and putting a little accuracy/touch on the ball. The amazing Cook catch was a bit too hard....put a little arc to the ball and Cook gains another 10 yds easy after the catch. He through a deep middle post to Washington that was absolutely screaming. The ball sailed over Washington's head. The safety was falling down.....if the ball was on target it's a touchdown. All correctable, of course.
