Draft Tek one of the few sites out there that mocks all seven rounds. Will update as they update leading up to the draft. I will admit that the Eric Reid pick seems like a reach at #10.
Drafttek.com uses a computer program to simulate a 7-round 2012 NFL Mock Draft. Each team has an individual analyst who supplies data on 2012 NFL Draft Team Needs. The team needs are matched up against a list of 2012 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings (Big Board) in order to generate each selection in our 2012 NFL Mock Draft.
www.drafttek.comRd 1 - Kenny Vaccaro, S Texas - I think this is a reach. The safety class this yr is nicely deep, but void of top end talent. I would've gone elsewhere. His alternate picks were Datone Jones and Barkavious Mingo......both DE's. Jones is WAAAY to high here, but I'd take Mingo over Vaccaro easily.
Rd 2 - Larry Warford, G "Michigan State?"....Really? Warford plays for Kentucky, not MSU. Warford is a stud and tore it up at the Sr Bowl. I wouldn't mind him at all. DE Ansah is the alternate......not too bad either. Barrett Jones and Travis Frederick are still on the board and I would seriously consider them as well.
Rd 3 - C. Carradine, DE, FSU. Good pick really. He'd be much higher had he not been injured this past yr. He's a 1st-2nd rd talent. Robert Lester and Bacarri Rambo were still on the board......a few more options.
Rd 4 - Alex Hurst, OT, LSU. Not bad. His alternate of Dallas Thomas, G/T is a much better option. Many see Thomas as a sure fire 2nd rdr. I agree, I like Thomas better.
Rd 5 - Ryan Swope, WR, TA&M. Not bad. Would be a nice proven WR.
Rd 6 - none
Rd 7 - Miguel Maysonet, RB, Stony Brook. Who?
