NFLPA dumps “junior rule” | ProFootballTalk

Under the late Gene Upshaw, the NFLPA overreacted to the Reggie Bush situation at USC, prohibiting any and all contact with college underclassmen.  Five years later, the NFLPA has decided to get rid of the rule.
