This was expected. They even sent out a memo saying that they would likely do so prior to the punishments being handed out. There may be a player or two that get a reduced sentence, but they've got so much information/evidence that most don't expect much to happen from this.
Remember this has been going on for yrs and yrs. The NFL went to then repeatedly through the yrs, telling them to stop what they are doing......they didn't. So they have a multiple yr history of gathering information/evidence.
