Incumbent starter Matt Hasselbeck and 2011 first-round pick Jake Locker are rotating first-team quarterback reps evenly at Titans camp. But there are growing indications that the organization is poised to go young. Hasselbeck is entering his age-37 season.
There are many who are anticipating Locker to start, but they are predicting for preseason games. My logic has always been that they'll play Locker a lot during the preseason......I think the staff knows what Hass can bring to the table. They know that he knows the offense, the reads, etc. To a certain extent they haven't seen Locker in a game senario as much.
So I always thought they'd play Locker a lot during the preseason, but I still think Hass starts the regular season at this time.....though it can change.
