After this play by our defensive line, I'm almost sad we drafted Derrick Morgan...

He's far and away their most talented receiver but he has to show this staff more consistency week in and week out. If he doesn't then you'll see Washington and Gage (when he gets back) get the bulk with the TE's.
We now know Britt has NO future at Punter!

Remember, they have several bodies out. It will look Alot different with Morgan, Brown, Hayes and Ford back in there.

Sure, it was out of frustration, but maturity is the key issue with Kenny IMO

They're avoiding Verner like they were avoiding Finnegan last year. I know it's early, but I think Finnegan - Verner will be an outstanding corner combo.

The only time they really threw at Verner was the pass in the end zone that Anderson threw behind No. 14. But Verner was in position to make the play. That said, remember the whole Dainon Sidney-Deron Jenkins thing? Verner might not get the job at the start, primarily because he's a rookie. But he will have it soon enough, I believe.

When all is said and done, the d-line rotation should be good as long as they stay relatively healthy.

Can't be a good sign for Blount

Shades of Ben Troupe as Hawk hurdles a would-be tackler Marshay Green on a reverse and nearly scores a TD.

Vince Young on the offense tonight:
"We started a little slow tonight, but then we got in a nice rhythm. We got a couple good drives for points, so that was good. Overall, we can build on what we did tonight.
"I think we're all playing with confidence out there. It all starts with the o-line. When we break the huddle, we look to those guys to set the tone, and we fall in right behind them."

Evidently, you can't stop Samkon Gado, who, all joking aside, looks pretty decent.

Nate Washington on the offense being in rhythm.
"We're still a work in progress. But I thought we made some plays out there tonight. We still have some kinks to work out, but it's getting there. We're in a much better position than this time last year."

On the talk on the sidelines with Jeff Fisher during replay challenge.
"I told him that I definately made the catch. He told me about a receiver here before who acted the same way and the replay showed that it bounced twice. I knew I made the catch though."
