Optimism grows for a potential Chris Johnson deal | ProFootballTalk

It's that time of year. Extensions are getting worked out. Disgruntled players are becoming gruntled. It's about time that the only holdout in the league comes to terms, and there are increasing signs that could happen in the next week.

If they got the numbers right on what CJ wants and what Titan brass offered I woulda flew back to Florida too... I kind of figured CJ was expecting something crazy. That's not unreasonable at all.

I highly doubt those numbers are right. The $20 million doesn't even make CJ the highest-paid RB in the league, like the Titans promised they would do.
