But I still won't want it to happen, to many risks for the players.

Why not cut two preseason games that are meaningless and there would technically be the same amount of games being played. I don't see how it is any more risk to the players for two more games than it is the other 16 games they play. Yes the more often they play the more likely they are to be injured, but that's just football. They are just as likely to get hurt in week 7 as they are in week 17. I do love the current set up of the NFL and I understan both sides of the argument.

I totally agree with blue's assessment.

I say stick with 16 games AND drop two preseason games. That can be a negotiating chip to get this stinking lockout over faster!
