It's hard to evaluate each one objectively.

Palmer: Last yr Munch (the guy that knows the offensive line better than anyone) criticized our 3 interior linemen publicly and said that changes need to be made. Those changes never took place and so therefore we are having the same issues as last yr. It's hard to see exactly how Palmer would do if he had the basic resources that were asked for last yr. Palmer has less excuses than Gray.

Gray: Last yr we needed pass rushers in the worst way. The front office let go one of their best pass rushers, let go of their best CB, and then picked up a guy that hasn't played DE in yrs. Needless to say that they didn't make things easier. Add together unproven CB's, very little pass rush, and 2-3 very young/inexperienced all 3 LB's and you've got a recipe for disaster.

As usual I haven't been able to see many games this yr due to the poor television coverage, so I don't have a ton of input. Palmer or Gray could both go and I would respect the decision.....though they could both stay and I would understand as well. But I can sympathize with them. Clearly their bosses did not give them every tool to succeed.

Palmer is the odd m an out, how do you have two playmakers like cook and britt and not have ways to get them deep? He talked for weeks about getting cook the ball and he only get 4-5 targets a game?
