  • Exactly what he did not need with Justin Gage coming back.

Tell me about it. So much for thinking Britt had turned the corner.

One step forward.....two steps back. I like Britt a lot but this coaching staff needs to send a stern message to the young man. Playing on Sunday should NOT even be an option, in my opinion.

All I can say is as a fan I am let down by his actions. When I was his age, I often got in bar fights. But I expect him to live to a higher standard than me. Britt has the ability to be a top receiver in the NFL. If he had dedicated himself to football the same way as he did the year after he graduated from college and got himself a top trainer like he did with Rod Smith, he would be well on his way to being a star in the league. That would be worth a lot more to him than bar room brawling.

Well said, I certainly wasn't singing in the choir on Sunday's at his age but I wasn't a former 1st round pick worth millions at 22. Nobody cared either. haha
Like you said, Britt can be as good as he wants to be in this league but the NFL is more than just about talent. In college you can out-athlete people and get away with it but the pro's is more about preperation and dedication because everybody is good at this level.
