Roster Debate: Wide Receivers

  • List of Wide Receivers on Roster:
    Kenny Britt
    Dominique Edison
    Justin Gage
    Lavelle Hawkins
    Marc Mariani
    Bobby Sewall
    Nate Washington
    Damian Williams
    Paul Williams

    The Titans will likely keep 4-6 receivers on the team this year. Who is it gonna be? Britt, Gage, and Washington seem to be guarenteed a spot, while Damian Williams is a 3rd round draft pick so he's not going anywhere. That leaves two spots for, Paul Williams, Hawkins, Mariani, Edison, and Sewall.

    Which three or four will be cut? Or will all five be cut?

  • If we cut Pearman, then I think we cut PW, Edison and Sewall. Esp if Hall tackles on st's like on Monday, what a frigging tackle.

  • I think they'll keep six here, and I'm pretty sure, barring injury that those six have already been decided: Washington, Gage, Britt, Hawkins, D. Williams and Mariani. I also believe Edison will come back to the practice squad.

  • Our receivers will be Washington, Gage, Britt, D. Williams, Hawkins, and Mariani. Out of the last 4, all of them can return kicks. I am very impressed with Mariani in the slot position. It seems like he has a good grasp of the offense. I do take in consideration he is playing against the #3s, but at the same time, he is playing with alot of confidence and poise. Washington has had a good camp as well. Hawkins to me still needs a little bit more work but he is getting better. Hopefully him working with Derrick Mason this off season helped.
