Rumor that there's a split on what to do at #8

  • Rumor has it the defensive staff wants to draft Fairley while the offensive staff wants Dalton. Any truth to this rumor? Am I the only one that thinks this is to high for Dalton?

There is no doubt they like Dalton a lot but to pull the trigger on him at that spot is a TOTAL reach! You either trade up from the seventh pick in the second round or stay put and cross your fingers he's still there.

Reinfeldt is not one to show his hand. What are the chances of the Titans trading up in the 2nd to get a QB?

They will if there is a run on QBs in the late first or early second and they feel like they are running out of opportunities to get Locker or Dalton. Otherwise, they'll probably stay put.

That was from Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network who seems to throw more stuff out there that is incorrect. They DO like both Fairley and Dalton, but there is no way they will consider Dalton at 8. He is a second-rounder or trade back into the end of the first round guy.

  • The hardest hit the nfl network took was when Adam Schefter left for espn and they got stuck with the often wrong jason loconfora.

    I'm thinking the same.

As much as I would like to see Dalton as a Titan's QB, I could back a decision to draft him at 8.
