Schwartz and the Lions

  • I have to say I like the job Jim Schwartz is doing in Detroit.

    I know it's preseason against Cleveland and the Lions may only win four or five games, but Jahvid Best looks really good. The defense is improving, too.

    Looks like Vanden Bosch still might have a little left in the tank after all.

    I think they are finally starting to put some pieces in place. In another couple of years, the Lions might actually be pretty good.

  • I will say that Schwartz has a lot more gray now than he did in Tennessee. Guess coaching the Lions does that to you.

  • I like the Georgia - Georgia Tech connection of Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson. Hopefully Calvin tears it up this year (he's on my team in my keeper league).

  • I think they double their wins to 4. The "D" will be a TON better with KVB and King Kong Suh.
    I really want Calvin in my upcoming drafts but I'm not sure what round to pull the trigger?
