and then the lockout came back!!!!! glad we got locker his play book this morning!

Jerry Gray said Ayers is a tough kid who can move around and cover TE's. They also like that he can force turnovers (something they missed with the LB's last year). Titans had him graded out as a first round pick.

he was a green room guy yesterday... Wasn't he on like 4 or 5 of the "big" watch lists for awards last year??
I can see his ability to cover a TE.. he plays everywhere on the field!

Ayers was so disappointed he wasn't drafted in the first round that he left Radio City Music Hall and flew back to Los Angeles. Now he's flying to Nashville to be in the building tomorrow. Now that's earning some miles!

Yes, he will still be able to be in the building tomorrow but now it will just be for the dog and pony show for the media. Teams can still make these guys available to the media, as long as the draft is still going on. So, after tomorrow no dice as long as this Lockout is back in tact.

Ayers will take over as the strong side LB, that means he could move into Witherspoon's spot covering tight ends. We all know what problems this team had covering tight ends last year, whether that was on the LBs or Chuck Cecil's scheme.
