I think you overlooking the big pass interference call in the first quarter. Then you are missing the lanes that opened for C.J. and the blocks Moss threw for C.J. Last, Titans receivers were wide open thanks to the attention Moss was getting. Moss can't throw himself the ball and neither could Collins.

I don't know if it had a lot to do with his throws. Today was worse than usual, but his long ball hasn't been there for some time and he sails passes a lot. The thing I wonder about is why did Fisher start him. He didn't injure his finger right before today's game, so he must have been throwing the ball like that all week in practice. Then VY comes in and looks healthy enough to have started.

I can't think of any top team in the league who would sit a starting qb to send in one playing at the level Collins is playing on. The only comparison I can think of is Shanny yanking McNabb and sending in Grossman. The thing with Fisher is NOBODY ever questions his thinking. Shanny got grilled to death about yanking McNabb, but Fish is never questioned.

VY has an injury, but Collins was in no shape to start.

He injured his finger a couple of weeks ago and it looks like he's still having issues with it. Pulling McNabb was the craziest thing Shanny has done as of late. He'll never live that one down. VY needs to come and play on Sunday.

That is the 64,000 question.

Collins looked OK during the week. But I agree that VY looked healthy enough to go to me.

I know that Collins' middle finger has a torn tendon, I think, in the end of it and that makes it very difficult to grip the ball and throw a spiral, didn't see many of those. With that, was he "healthier" then VY? I was impressed with Moss' down field blocking. It surprised me. I just don't understand why they didn't throw it to him when he was open. The announcers, for whatever they're worth, mentioned a couple of times that Moss was open and they didn't look his way at all.

Was it Vince that missed him each time, or was it Collins, too? I know there are criticisms about Vince being able to see the whole field.
