Sounds like Kolb wants out of Philly

  • Kolb wants to start or he wants out of Philly | ProFootballTalk

Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb said all the right things this season and couldn't have been more supportive of Michael Vick.  Now that the season is over, another approach is being used.

  • The asking price will be high for Kolb. Rumor is the Eagles want at least two picks, including a 1. Not sure Kolb is worth that, but when you're desperate, you have to take chances.

TitanInsider: Any closer and you'd be in the huddle.

The Titans are getting to that point, if they're not already there. Who's Kolb agent?

  • No way Kolb is worth the rumored two first-round picks the Eagles are asking for him.

    I agree, he's not worth 2 first-round picks.

  • What Philly wants and what Philly gets are two separate things, I don't see any team, regardless of desperation, giving up two first rounders for an unproven guy. He's not Jay Cutler. Maybe a team gives up a first and a third. I'm not sure anything will happen this season anyway with such a tight window for trades. I assume player trades are off-limits during the draft, but that could be wrong.

And as far as the Titans given up a first round pick for Kolb, I'd rather take my chances with Jake Locker. It will be interesting to see what happens to his stock after the Senior Bowl and the combines. If you're going to give up a first round pick, you might as well draft a guy that's five years younger and has about as much NFL playing time. JMO

I hear you on Kolb, but Fish needs to win now.
