With the season a wrap for the Titans and looking foward to April... What if the titans have Manti Te'o sitting right there for the taking? I'd like to see us take him. Great leader on D. Put him in the middle with Akeem and Colin at the Will and Sam spots. With zach brown as a situational... And we can even throw in 34 looks with those 4 LBs.
I think Te 'os value will depend on if a team thinks he really is a 3 down middle lb.A 2 down run stufffing mlb probably isn't worth a top 5 pick.I guess it will depend on his combine 40 and workout.I would have no problem putting him in the middle and letting collin move outside. We do need some leadership and some vocal motivators on D.
If Te'o is there I think you have to pick him. The Titans need playmakers on both sides of the ball. How many of the starters on this team could start on another team? My guess - less than 5. The Titans drafts recently have yielded starters but no impact players. Is that on the players, the coaching staff, front office, or scouting.

I have mentioned this a few times on this board throughout the yr. There are a few players that I would love to see the Titans take: Bjoern Werner, Jarvis Jones, Manti Te'o, Demarcus Milliner, Chance Warmack, etc.
General McCarthy has played WLB before and can slide over, leaving Te'o to roam the middle, but is Te'o fast enough to play SLB?
SLB - Te'o.....absolute playmaker, leader, and intelligent
MLB - General McCarthy.....absolute playmaker, leader, and intelligent
WLB - Brown.....very raw, but an elite level athlete. Played better as the yr progressed
Then you question is, what happens to Ayers Rock? Although Ayers is much better than last yr and is the team's leading tackler, but watch the game closely. He is out of position a ton and misses way too many tackles by not wrapping up. I've not been super impressed with him over the last 2 yrs. He's big though......he's larger than Babin was last yr. It's entirely possible that Ayers can become a pass rush DE. So, now your LB corps is better and your pass rush is better. Win, win.
