Does losing Finn hurt? Yes. But I don't think it will hurt as much as some lead us to believe. IMO, Finn was a top 10 CB in the league, but he was not in the league of Revis or Asomugha. Revis or Aso could excel against a leading WR without a decent pass rush or w/o another CB or two opposite him. Not so much with Finn. In short, I think that many tend to overrate Finn's abilities.
That being said, it does hurt to lose him b/c he is a very, very good player. I think that ATV and Court will do just fine, but it's whoever else we use for depth that will decide how well we bounce back from losing Finn. We may not see a true #1 corner emerge between ATC and Court, but they may alternate to match up with the WR's.
As far as 3rd down coverage mentioned in the article.....a pass rush can cure many things. Hopefully we have one this yr.
