what do you think of trying to pick up a receiver sometime in the draft? I see a LOT of potential stud nfl receivers this year, more so than other years IMO. what if we could pickup R.Broyles in a later round...I think that is a big time steal! or maybe try and get another scarlet knight in Sanu?? Alshon Jeffrey is another potential big-timer. Posey too, great speed/size combo. Or you could go first round and hope for Floyd or take S.Hill...
but as far as that first round pick I think we gotta go with a linemen of some sort, probably defensive. Our D seems to have holes everywhere and I think a Def.Linemen could help out all positions of the D, not just the line. Whitney Mercilus is a popular pick and I think its warranted, talk about production. ...Maybe Michael Brockers will be available here? ...I've seen some Mocks that have us taking DeCastro or Konz here, I think both would be solid moves, especially DeCastro. Actually, if we were to go Off.Line I would love to see us pickup Mike Adams. (not sure how much of a need LT is though) But If there is one Buckeye I can vouch for its him, dude is an absolute MONSTER who will prevail in the nfl under a REAL conditioning program. The one we had under Tressel was laid back and we a lot of under-conditioned bodies. This guy stepped it up towards the end of his collegiate career and will be successful.. Book it!
A lot of people think we will take a corner, I definitely see this as a big need, but I'm not too sure on Kirkpatrick and Gilmore... they seem like risky picks. Of course I would love to have Claiborne
. Maybe try for Janoris Jenkins later round??
Luke Keuchly would be a wise move even if its not a big need, no?
Or how about Mark Barron if he's available? These would be solid picks IMO because they're low risk. Should pan out into solid starters..
Regardless, I'm excited! I really hope we take best available for most of our picks.
