Yes, if an upgrade was out there, they would take them, but when guys like Portis, and Aaron Maybin and Everette Brown come in, don't get too excited, those are just to have a ready list in case of an injury so you don't have to call four or five guys after the fact and find the replacement you want. You try them out now, then if an injury occurs, call the most impressive guy and sign him.

More good days than bad. Looked a little rough last week with accuracy, but bounced back nicely this week. He's getting some work with the 1's as well to give Hasselbeck a bit of a break on Wednesday and get him ready if he's ever needed.

Any word on Colin McCarthy? Do you get the feeling that he is the leader in the clubhouse to be the future starter? I know it's still really early. Any word on him getting some PT at MLB and not just special teams? I like the way he plays. Very hard hitter.

Really like what I've seen from him. I think the reason Ruud only got a one-year deal is that McCarthy is the starting mike linebacker in waiting.

Griff has been an enigma since he's been here. Great start, slipped a couple of years ago, and bounced back a little last year. The Titans have always thought he had Ed Reed/Troy Polamalu type of talent, but he's really been a B/B+ type player. In short, yes, they do want to see more.

Ayers has been pretty good, but that was expected. I'm going with Klug, who has been making big play after big play in camp and it's carried over into the season. Not bad for a 5th rounder.

Potentially it could but going back to 1999, that draft had Kearse, John Thornton, Zach Piller and Donald Mitchell and in 2000, it was Bulluck, Erron Kinney, Peter Sirmon and Robaire Smith. More recently '09 wasn't bad, yielding Britt, Marks, Cook, McRath, Ringer and McCourty.

Way too early to tell on that one. Let's see how they do over the next few weeks. If they are within striking range when they first play the Texans, then we'll see. Honestly, I don't see a wild-card coming out of the AFC South this year.

I think so, but I'm still not completely sold on them, until they actually do it. It's sort of like people picking the Cubs to go to the World Series, you just can't be convinced of it, even when they have the talent.
