Titans Central Posters

  • This thread is for everyone who was a poster over at Titans Central before it got hacked. I've been contacting everyone I know trying to get them to move over here since this is a relatively new and untouched board. I want to ask all Titans Central posters to do the same.

    Additionally, everyone who has carried over from Titans Central should post in this thread so we can see how many of us there are. Hopefully we can get most of the old board to move over here.

    I really like this board. It's managed very well and I like the inside info from Terry and Darren. It's good that it came up around the same time that Titans Central went down. Now we can easily move over here and stay relatively intact. It helps that we're entering open doors as well. I look forward to a great new board.

    I love the layout of this board, especially as a college football fan also, it allows me to jump from site to site pretty easily.

    How active was Titan Central? I see a bunch of references lately and wondered about it.

  • It was very active. There were probably a couple hundred regular posters and over a thousand registered. I think the site just got to be too much for the admins. It was all volunteer work for them and with no fees and that many posters it just got to be too much. I'm hoping we can get at least half of the regular guys to come over here.

  • I was a regular lurker over at titanscentral, and have been spending most of my time over here since it went down. Hopefully some more regulars from over there will eventually migrate over here.

  • Same Cyrus from Titanscentral here. I've been waiting for TC to come back up so myself, Reo and some others could feel a little vindicated after all the criticism we took for espousing Locker at 8 for several months.

    This board is a little quiet (now) but its the cleanest and most user friendly of all the functional boards for sure. GoTitans makes me feel like I'm being indoctrinated with ads.

    Totally agree on gotitans...very hard to read that board because of the layout and the ads. Not to mention some sub-par football knowledge.

    Welcome to everyone! Terry and Darren have done a great job covering the team. They have been ahead of the curve on many of the key storylines in the last few months. Only thing that was really missing was a bigger community to notice what a great job they're doing.

  • Wanted to welcome all TitansCentral posters to TitanInsider.com. I have been communicating with James (JTB) over there and we are hopeful of putting something good together. To all who have been long-time posters and viewers at TitansCentral, let me say that you are more than welcome to post anytime here. I look forward to the great dialogue and discussion that was over there happening here. As well, we will have insider info on this board as it happens. Keep spreading the word!!

  • Let me just reiterate what Terry and a lot of you have already said, welcome all TitansCentral posters. We at TitanInsider look forward to your comments and opinions on all that is the Titans. As you can see the setup here is tremendous! The folks at 247sports are TOP-NOTCH! I think you are really going to like this community. Thanks for giving us a shot.

  • I can't tell you how many times I clicked on TitansCentral.net in my bookmarks, was told that the account was suspended, and started cussing wondering what in the heck I did to get banned.

  • We are very open and upfront here. You'll always know where you stand.

    One of the best things here is, if there is a user you know that you don't want to see, you can ignore them by clicking on the "Ghostbusters" symbol by their avatar and you will never see any of their posts. You can also follow certain posters and only see their posts, etc.

    The key to how the boards work is at the bottom of the page. I'll try and find our "how to" post from way back when to and pin it for all the new users.
