The Tennessee Titans announced that Scott Hewett, head football coach at Dresden High School, has been named the Titans High School Football Coach of the Week, for week 7.
Dresden snapped a 14-game losing streak to rival Riverside, winning 20-14. Dresden's defense stopped a late drive by forcing a turnover on their seven yard line with :52 seconds remaining in the game.
The Titans Foundation will make a $1,000 contribution to the Dresden football program in Coach Hewett's honor.
Scott Hewett will be the team's guest at the Titans vs Texans game on Dec. 19 at LP Field, when all the 2010 Coach of the Week winners will be announced.
