With this addition I can see the titans using a hybrid 4-3/3-4. Partnered with ayers on the outside. McCarthy and witherspoon or McGrath on the inside. Casey and marks would make good nt's. And I can see the rest of the dt's fitting in well as de's. But this would be a very aggressive, attaching 3/4 similar to what rex and rob ryan like to use. This would make good on grey's larger front seven philosophy and puts alot of team speed on the field. It would put alot of strain on the back db's. Just an idea but I would like to see it.

I totaly agree. Iv been thinking the Titans were heading to a 3-4 ever since Grey came along. Ayers and Wimbley are perfect fits at 3-4 OLB.
Although I dont really see Klug fitting in a 3-4, and I really like his potential. Maybe he could just be used in passing situations (like he was last year), but he just doesn seem big enough to play NT. And just look at Jason Jones if you think about switching him to end.
Titans agree to deal with Wimbley
