    I agree with your take on Babin, Ball and Shaw. Hall may be more important then some people think but his problem may be his agent. I guess we would miss Nickey on Special Teams but talk about a cat with nine lives.I don't think Simms and Collins will both be back and I think their pick will be Collins. I've still got a feeling they will bring Haynesworth back.

  • I think Babin is the biggest priority, then Dave Ball. I l would like see Tulloch return but I have a feeling they would have given him an extension last offseason if they wanted to keep him. I like Ahmard Hall a lot but we could really use a Mike Tolbert type of FB since we have two little backs in Ringer and CJ. It will be interesting to see what happens with Leroy Harris. They were so high on him, but I was not impressed. And Donnie Nickey... talk about making on career on special teams, surely Myron Rolle or Nick Schommer can step up next season.

  • Terry, I'm like 80% sure that Donnie Nickey signed a 2 year deal last offseason. Don't believe he is a free agent. He and Ken Amato both signed 2 year deals within a couple days of each other.

    I thought that too, owenstg, but I asked Donnie last week and he said he was a free agent this off-season again.

  • I thought it was two years as well, but Donnie confirmed it's only one. With Fisher back, Donnie will probably be back as well.

  • Washburn's departure changes a lot of things, and I have adjusted some of the free agent percentage of return to reflect that.

  • As promised the free agent tracker has been updated. Darren and I and the 247 staff will continue to add to it as players sign either with the Titans or elsewhere around the NFL.

    Great updates. I still think we can do better then Tulloch for less then what Detroit is offering him. I think we need a center. There is a free agent from Seattle that is young, getting beter and obviuosly knows our new QB. Any interest in Brandon Stokley since he backed out of the Washington deal? Any interest in Barrett Rudd?

    Barrett Rudd interests me, too. Guy is a tackling machine. And he's bigger than Tulloch.

    If we added Barnett, then who do you take off the field: Ayers, McRath, or Witherspoon?

    And the same for Mason: Nate Wash or D. Williams?

    I'd be wary of adding guys like this. We are rebuilding. We don't need to make minor upgrades so that we can go 8-8 or 9-7. I'd prefer that we give our young guys some experience and figure out who we can build around. We need to plan ahead and try to peak in about 2-3 years when Locker is operating at a high level. Then we can use the money we've saved by not signing the Derrick Masons and Nick Barnetts of the world and get an impact FA who can help us make a deep run.
