Although Griffin has had his ups and downs and Babineaux has just been decent, I agree with the article. Sure we all want better safeties, but the league as a whole is starving for safeties. They've talked about it the last few drafts, how there hasn't been good number of decent safeties come out in a while. Sure, there is a couple here and there, but for the most part the safeties coming out in the NFL drafts the last 3-4 yrs have not proven to be that good.
So, in my estimation we have the 8th best safety tandem in the league......but the league as a whole is down.
