Titans vs Saints Pre-Game Chat

Terry and I will conduct a Live Pre-Game Chat Thursday night starting at 5:30 till 6:30pm (central) from the LP Field Press Box. Final pre-season game, against the defending Super Bowl champs. Lets discuss who's looked good thus far, who or what you have concerns about, and much, much more. Jump in there and lets talk some Titans football.

I think LeGarrette Blount and/or Samkon Gado fall into that category. Others include some of the backup linebackers like Stanford Keglar, who is on the bubble, or defensive end Eric Bakhtiari, who is in a tough numbers battle there.

The way Nick Schommer has played, I think Myron Rolle could be in trouble, though he still might land on the practice squad. David Howard probably won't make the 53 either.

From everything I'm hearing, he should be healthy enough to play, even if he isn't 100%

Is anyone as concerned as I am over our lackluster rushing performance this preseason? All the vanilla plays, bla bla aside.....I have seen backs on other teams putting together decent performances....seems like we would have seen more out of CJ over the past few weeks with the number of carries he has had....

With Gage and Washington out, are we going to see Hawkins or Williams opposite of Britt? Hawkins seemed to struggle (although it was difficult to tell) outside of the slot.

I wouldn't get too concerned about it. I realize everyone gets tired of hearing about how not to look into these games too much but this is one of those cases.

Hawk should get the start first. And you're right, he didn't do much last week. Other than the reverse, he truly hasn't done as much as I expected this camp.

With ex-Titan Patrick Ramsey getting the start for the Saints, we'll see how much of the New Orleans offense is Brees and how much is the system.

I think Blount could use time on the practice squad since he was suspended last year. But they might keep him on the 53.
