Why?

1. You need several nice RB's in case of injury. Ideally 3 or more. Right now we have CJ, Ringer, and Reynaud......Harper is suspect. Ringer is younger than Rey with less mileage on the tires.

2. You wouldn't get a ton for him. Even though Ringer has looked really good and could start for many teams in the league, as a back-up he doesn't have a lot of leverage in order to get something good.

3. He doesn't hurt the bank. Keeping him doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Likewise getting rid of him doesn't free up that much cap space......and we aren't really in cap space danger anyway.

Also all teams will have to cut a ton of players soon. This next cut should be chocked full of some decent talent and fits for a number of teams. The Lions could find some decent backs.

And hopefully Tennesee will keep their eyes open as well. I'd love another DE.
