David Lee Roth: Van Halen wants to do Super Bowl halftime | ProFootballTalk

We noted last month that there's speculation that Van Halen will perform the next Super Bowl halftime show. Lead singer David Lee Roth says the band hasn't been offered the gig, but they'll jump at the chance if asked.

Hard to get excited about a Van Halen halftime show. I'd rather see AeroSmith than Van Halen any day of the week.

Van Halen was my band back in the day. Diver Down and 1984 were two of my first tapes I purchased......along with Bon Jovi New Jersey and Slippery When Wet.......
Ok, suddenly I feel older than I am.
